Q1. How do I set up or open an account ?

A1.   To set-up your pre-paid account with us, all you have to do is to choose the service from REGISTRATION to SIGN UP with us, and account will be activated instantly, when you will verify your email.

Q2. What payment methods are available ?

A2.   We accept all major Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) via paypal.com and moneybookers.com.     Also we accept debit or credit card through PayPal. Other methods of payment we accept: Wire Transfer, Moneybookers, Account to Account Transfer.

Q3. Is there any Bank Account to pay ?

A3.   Automated Instant Payment - Pay Instantly by Net Bank of Finland and Credit Card and Debit Card.

Q5. I have Debit Card / Credit Card but I don't have paypal account , what to do ?

A5.   Login to your account.
1. click on BUY NOW button,
1a. Select PAYPAL and the amount,
1b. Confirm order
2. You will be redirected to PAYPAL.com page
2a. Click on "Don't have a PayPal account?" - Pay with your debit or credit card as a PayPal guest,
2b. Enter your information and click on "Review and Continue" button,
2c. Confirm the payment.

Q6. How do I check my account balance ?

A6.   Once you login into your "My Account" portal, This will take you to the Account page where you will be able to see your call activities and account balance. You can also add credit through your account.

Q7. Is there any special rules to follow - when dialling ?

A7.   Yes, You have to follow this very carefully.

1st. Dial our Access Number
2nd. Our system will tell you : how much money you have on your account.
3rd. Our system will ask you : Please enter the destination number followed by pound key
4th. Just enter your destination number and # [ For example - To call UK: 44301234567# OR 0044301234567# ]

Very Important Notice:
DO NOT PRESS anymore dial button [ green "call" button ] of your mobile phone after you have enter the destination number and #.

5th. Wait and our system will automatically connect you to destination number - if possible

Q8. Do I need a userid and a password ?

A8.   When you sign up, you will be given userid and password (you can change the password later on).

Q9. When I try to login in to MY ACCOUNT - it says BLOCKED ACCOUNT ?

A9.   Please verify / click on the link that was sent to your given email , When you sign up. If you did not receive any email , please signup again and click on the verification link that was sent to your email.

Q10. I forgot/lost my USER ID (Login Number) and/or PASSWORD ?

A10. You have two choice to retrieve them

Choice 1: 
1st. Please, Click on the "MY ACCOUNT" tab and choose your service.
2nd. there is link Forgot your password ? Click here.
3rd. Enter your email address and SUBMIT.

Choice 2: This is available only for users of "International Call Service - Access Number".
Dial our Automated Phone Number and it will tell you. You will find the Automated Phone Number under "MY ACCOUNT" tab.

Q13. How many minutes or hours - I can talk ?

A13. Dial our access number and then press the destination number. Our robot will tell you, how many minutes you can talk.

Q14. "Please enter PIN number" - I hear the following recorded voice message, When calling to access number, why ?

A14. The reason is probably one of the following:

1st. Your Phone Number (CallerID) has not been registered in our system.
Solution: Register your phone number under your web account in "ADD CALLER ID", as format: 358401234567 [countrycode & rest numbers]

2nd. The balance of your finndial call account is zero.
Solution: load balance to make calls.

3rd. Your telephone subscription operator does not send your telephone number.
Solution: turn caller's ID blocking setting off on your mobile phone's call settings or call in the following way to our access number *31#access number ( *31# code works just in mobile phones )

4th. If you are using a prepaid mobile phone subscription your prepaid balance could be zero.
Solution: Check your prepaid balance and load balance if needed.

Q15. How do I register my Phone Number [Caller ID] ? Is it possible to change Phone Number [Caller ID] in current account ?

A15. You can register your Phone Number [Caller ID] in "ADD CALLER ID" under your account, as format: 358401234567 [countrycode & rest numbers].

Once the Phone Number [Caller ID] is entered in "ADD CALLER ID", you cannot change it.

It is not possible to change your Phone Number [Caller ID] in your current account. You have to create new account, if you have changed your Phone Number [Caller ID].

Q16. How do I add more money/credit into my account ?

A16. You can recharge your account by "PURCHASE CREDIT" option OR Instant Bank Payment.

Q17. How do I cancel my account ?

A17. Login to your account and submit a ticket to cancel your account. Account will be canceled including any balance left in that account.

Q18. Can I reactivate my account ?

A18. You can create a new account by following the signup process again.

Q19. Are there any cancellation fees ?

A19. There are no cancellation fees.

Q20. What happens if I do not have enough money/credit in my pre-paid account ?

A20. Without enough credit in your account, you will not be able to make any calls. You can top up your account at the Account page.

Q21. How do I call abroad ?

A21. There are three dufferent ways on our system:

1. Regular way of calling - you can check also from PREMIUM ROUTE and ECONOMY ROUTE page, as we are providing different route and rates.

1a. for PREMIUM ROUTE:
First call to our access number, after listening instructions on the phone,
Press country code + area code + subscriber's number and then press the number sign button (#)
Example: 44301234567#

1b. for ECONOMY ROUTE:
First call to our access number, after listening instructions on the phone,
Press 00 + country code + area code + subscriber's number and then press the number sign button (#)
Example: 0044301234567#

NOTE:: Once destination number is entered[Do not press green call dial button on your mobile phone]

2. Call by using the rules of SPEED DIAL numbers

3. By saving the destination numbers on your mobile phone contacts. So later on , you can just press on the name to call.
Save the destination phone numbers in your mobile phone contacts by the following way:
Access number + pppp + foreign/destionation number + #
Example, save on your mobile phone contact list as:

Name: My Lolita
Phone number as: 0931548000pppp44301234567#

NOTE: It is not regular letter p, it is ( pause ) and you have to get this p ( pause ) by the following way.
Nokia (old phone) : press three times the asterisk / "star button" (*) until the letter p appears on the screen.
Samsung, Motorola or SonyEricsson (old phone) : press the asterisk / "star button" (*) until the letter p appears on the screen.
Siemens or Panasonic (old phone) : press the zero (0) until the letter p appears on the screen.
LG: press the number sign button (#) until the letter p appears on the screen.

Android phone : Press (keep on pressing) the * key and you will get , or p
IPhone : Press (keep on pressing) the * key and you will get ,
Windows phone: Use comma " , " instead of " p "

Q22. How do I use speed dialling ?

A22. The speed dial numbers are short numbers. It will help you to dial faster, once you setup "SPEED DIAL" - you don't have to dial the long destination phone number . Every speed dial [0-14] number represents a foreign telephone number that you have set . You can register 0-14 speed dial numbers.

Example :
1. Login to your finndial MyAccount ( http://myaccount.finndial.net/ )

2. click on "SPEED DIAL"

3a. Speed Dial code

3b. Destination Phone Number
8801234567 [ country code and phone numbers - as Premium] OR

NOTE: If you want to use "SPEED DIAL" for Premium, Economy, Cheap and Special for the same destination phone number, So you have to set the destination phone number in Speed Dial code (for example: in 1 and in 2 and in 3 and in 4) according to Premium, Economy, Cheap and Special as above. ( Calling Rates ).

3c. Name

4. Click on ASSIGN NUMBER TO SPEED DIAL.

5. You are done.
Now you have set your destination number in 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 under SPEED DIAL.
when you want to call abroad
5a. first dial our Access Number, then wait and listen the message "Please enter the phone number then pound key, do not press call button wait it will be connecting".
5b. After message played, press on your phone just: 1# or 2# and wait - our system will dial for you.

OR
5c. Follow HOTNUMBERS to dial the SPEED DIAL numbers.

[ NOTE: DO NOT PRESS on green "call" button of your mobile phone after you press the destination phone number ]

Q23. Is there any maximum call length ?

A23. There is not, but there are many international network operators limit the maximum5 length of each call to 60 minutes.


Q24. What is the total price of the call ( Local call charges )?

A24. Total price of the call = call charges to our Access Number + international call charge.

FinnDial charges only for the international calls and your account is charged from your finndial call account in real time. The charging of the international call will begin when your call connects to the destination number. If any destination is provided for free (0 snt/min), we will not charge you anything to call those destinations.

The call to our Access Numbers is charged by your subscription operator for the period that you are connected. Our Access Numbers is the normal priced number of the landline network. Our number is not an extra chargeable service number or a corporate number. When one calls from the mobile phone : the price of the call is a mobile call charge (mpm) which is the same as for calling any regular fixed phone number in Finland. The minute packages (which include calls to any operator) of the mobile operators include the calls to our Access Numbers.

When calling from the fixed line number, the charge of the call is as follows:
You call from the 09-area: local call charge (ppm).
You call from outside the 09-area: local network charge (pvm) + domestic long-distance call charge.
FinnDial recommends to use an advantageous mobile subscription to use our service and also when using from outside the 09-area.

INFORMATION:
If you have a voice package from your mobile operator and the package includes minutes to all Finnish networks, you can take advantage of that minutes included when making call to our access-numbers. Anyway you should/must make sure about the call charges to our Access Numbers from your subscription operator.

Q25. Is there any expiration date of balance and account ?

A25. There is no expiration date for the active account. We reserve the right to delete the call account from our service without any prior notice, including possible balance left, if you do not make any connected calls within the last twelve(12) months.

Q26. Is it possible to transfer credit/money from one account/phone number to another account/phone number ?

A26. No, it is not possible.

Also, You cannot get your money back, if you make mistake and load money to other phone number.

Q27. Do you send any bills to us ?

A27. No. Our International Call service is prepaid service. We do not send any bills to you and any other company will not send any bills to you in favor of us.

Q28. How to recharge account with voucher number ?

A28. You have to choice.

Choice 1. Login to your finndial account and click on VOUCHERS from left menu.
Enter the voucher number and click on USE VOUCHER.

Choice 2. First dial our Automated Phone Number: +358931548008
Listen the instructions then follow :
When it will ask you - If you want to recharge this account with voucher, Press 8
Please enter the voucher number and press the pound key ( # ).

Q29. Is it my Phone Number (Caller ID) rigistered in finndial service or no? Ho to check ?

A29. This is the most easy way to check for the service "International Call Service - Access Number".

Follow 1. Dial our Automated Phone Number and if our system says:
"Sorry, you do not have account with us. Please register" - it means your Phone Number (Caller ID) is not registered in the service . and If your phone number registered in the service, you can get several information ( Login Number, Password, PIN code for online payment, etc....... ) by Automated Phone Number

AND

Follow 2. Dial our Access Number and if our system says :
"Please enter your PIN number" - it means your Phone Number (Caller ID) is not registered in the service .

Q30. " Please Enter Verification Code ". Why asking ? and Where to get it ?

A30. You have to enter "Verification Code", if you want to use our services from Abroad or if you are in Roaming. Please contact customer support for the "Verification Code".

There are few choices to dial, when to use with "Verification Code":

1. Our system will say ( Please enter verification code ). Start to enter verification code, when it will start to say Please.... .

OR

2. You can dial as: Access Number one pause Verification Code

OR

3. You can dial as: Access Number one pause Verification Code four pause Destination Number#

OR

4. You can dial as: Access Number one pause Verification Code four pause Speed Dial Code#

NOTE : How to get pause - It is explained in here "How do I call abroad ? in section number 3"

Q31. " I have paid and Money is already deducted from my bank account but I did not get the money in my finndial account. what happened and when I will get my money in my finndial account. ?

A31. Please follow instructions when making payment, so, you can get the money right away in your finndial account.

Remember : Do not close your internet browser after confirming your payment in your netbank, wait until your netbank forward you to finndial website and finndial website give you payment confirmation message "We have received successful payment conformation from your bank and your finndial account is updated".

If your money is deducted from your bank account but you did not get the money in your finndial account, you have nothing to worry about it, please wait, your bank will send us electronic notification to our system and our system will update your finndial account. It might take few minutes to few days to get the money in your finndial account.

Q32. " Referral Bonus - FRIEND'S PHONE NUMBER FOR BONUS - When we will get it?

A32. Login to your finndial myaccount and click on "FRIEND'S PHONE NUMBER FOR BONUS" from left menu, You can enter there your friend's phone number who has account with us. Our system will give bonus to your friend's phone number by the Date mentioned in your account. If your friend did not get the bonus by the date, Please Contact us after the date.
